New, the Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM is £565 at Purely Gadgets. If you can't afford that, then there are any number of 70-300mm zoms out there.
Used, you should be able to pick up a Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM within your budget, if you can find one.
