I've been lurking long enough and it feels almost rude not to sign up and post a bit on here now.
I'm Ian from Manchester. I've had a DSLR for around 4 years now and have on/off periods where I can get out and use it as I have the unpleasantness of having 2 jobs and very little spare time to go out and use my camera.
I currently have a D7000 with a Nikon AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR & Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX II. I've had various other lenses over the years but these 2 seem to cope with most of the snaps I tend to take, although I'm looking to grab a 35mm f1.4 as I recently sold my 35mm f1.8.
I tend to take a lot of shots of architecture and portraits but I wouldn't consider much of the work I produce as very good as I tend to let myself down a bit when it comes to editing (I'm lazy when it comes to editing) which is one of the reasons I thought i'd sign up and seek some advice from you guys
