Hey guys,

I consider myself a semi-professional (i.e. photography has always - just - been a hobby for me, but a very prominent one, though) photographer.

I have been shooting for roughly ten years now and am a big fan of NIKON cameras (as a consequence of which probably a quarter of all users will now like and the another quarter will definitely feel some positive inclination towards me).

Born and raised in Germany I am currently studying Management, Econ & Psychology in downtown London. Whenever I find the time I take pictures, mostly during my travels though.

You might say that my underwater / plane / nature photography has gained a certain standard, yet I am still a bit of a bloody beginner when it comes to decent portrait photography which I nevertheless tend to enjoy a lot (good excuse to take pictures of beautiful girls).

I cordially invite you to have a look at my website:

Hi Marc, and :welcome: to TP.

Nice introduction there, and nice set of pictures on your site

I would like to know what kind of underwater set-up & technique you're using, if you don't mind :).

Hey Wall,

Thanks very much, greatly appreciated. Most recently I have used a Hugyfoot case for my nikon d300. With it I have tried several fixtures finding, after several disappointing dives, finally a nice one where I can even use a zoom-lens (18-70mm if I remember correctly). My older pictures were taking with a rather cheap alternative: a sony cybershot in a plastic case.

Do you do uw photography urself?

Best,
Marc.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the clarification .

Personally, I've been diving on and off since 1988; recently I've contemplated getting into underwater photography but have had to put that idea on hold for the time being. However, it is something I will get into pretty soon, once I'm better settled here.
