lolage's 365 (2011)

Nice work with these Ben, with 18/365 is that colour representative of the scene or has it been digitally remastered, as that yellow is something else. Keep up the good work.

Thanks.

Did a little bit of tweaking but the majority of the colour is from what was actually there. The sun hadn't properly set and was hiding just below the top of the hill.

21 is fab... Just thing getting all of orion in would have been the trick to a better shot... Maybe portrait... U rarely seem to turn your camera on it's side... You can get some powerful composition going sideways!

This is true! Sometimes forget about it, but yeah - should definetly try it out more. Thanks for the comment.

EDIT: I've regretfully failed this project! :bang::bang: Just been so busy with my job and other work I struggle to find time. It was getting to the stage where I just go round the house late at night taking pictures of junk. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so any photo I was not happy with was very annoying. :gag: Therfore I'll be transfering some of my photo's to do a 52 where I will actually have time to get pictures I'm happy with!

Much respect goes to anyone who actually manages to do all days - has been a very tough challenge for me to do only 22 days. Thanks to anyone who's viewed my pictures or given me comments. Sorry for wasting your time/failing. :bonk:

That's a shame mate, but best of luck with the 52, I have had the same issue some days, especially on a Saturday the last couple of weeks because after taking 500-1000 photos at the rugby match's that I have been to and then 2-3 hours of editing I really haven't felt like getting the camera out again so have ended up selected one of the sports photos to use.

I have really enjoyed some of your photos so I will not consider it time wasted, well you will just have to go and do some trails ;)

Yeah cheers dude, just feel a bit of a plonker for not even lasting a month :bonk:

Is alot harder than I expected - especially due to me being so fussy when posting shots. Best of luck with yours, and yeah I'm still going to be out doing light trails! :D

Ben, don't feel bad... you're going for the 52, and if your photos are of the same quality then you'll do just fine. i love your light trails. what settings do you use, especially the last one, the balance between the streetlights and the car lights is great.

Cheers for your comments!

For the latest one I used a 113 second exposure with f/25.0 and ISO 100. All my previous ones were using 30 second exposures due to not having a remote shutter release!
