EDIT: I've regretfully failed this project! :bang::bang: Just been so busy with my job and other work I struggle to find time. It was getting to the stage where I just go round the house late at night taking pictures of junk. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so any photo I was not happy with was very annoying. :gag: Therfore I'll be transfering some of my photo's to do a 52 where I will actually have time to get pictures I'm happy with!

Much respect goes to anyone who actually manages to do all days - has been a very tough challenge for me to do only 22 days. Thanks to anyone who's viewed my pictures or given me comments. Sorry for wasting your time/failing. :bonk:

Ben

After getting my SLR christmas I've really enjoyed getting used to it and learning the world of photography! Was going to do a 52, but I'm going to try to attempt a 365!

Hopefully seeing as I've broadcasted it in this way it will give me a bit more motivation to do it - if I don't do it now I'll look like a right plonker. :help:

Anyway, I took this earlier on the 1st Jan despite posting it now.

Well good luck, I've just started the same myself so let's hope that we both manage to do it, the light trails map is coming on well, last time I check earlier today its had nearly 1100 hits and there are now trails added all over the country.

Thanks, good luck to yourself too!

And yeah, really happy that we have quite a lot of trails there now! Hoping it will just keep growing.

The photo you posted seems underexposed to me. Can't see much of it mate. :-)

Thanks for the comment dude. Thats what this project is all about :) I'll hopefully learn how far to go with PP maybe. It was lighter but prefered the darker look.

Hi Ben,

I can see the look you were going for and I like it but I think you need to be aware of the camera angle too.

On first look I thought it was just the natural converging verticals that come from shooting up at buildings, exaggerated by the fact you are clearly slightly down hill of the house in he picture. However, on closer inspection every vertical in the house plus every fence post etc is leaning to the left suggesting you were not holding the camera level or if tripod mounted you did not level everything up.

Thanks for the comment! Was finding it hard to judge the angle as the road is on a slope and my tripod isnt the most stable thing in the world!

Will take more notice for trying to straighten it out in PP next time though!

Nice light trail Ben

Was going to go out and get a half decent pic today but have had to stay in the house all day with uni work! :@ Pretty dissapointed with this, nothing in focus - but hey its still a photo and I'm not going to give up on this project just yet. :D

Will hopefully be going to a new light trail spot I've found on google maps! Has no street lighting so will have a go at that on my way home from uni fingers crossed!

Nice water drop, this is something that I will have to have a go at, at some point in this 365, I have played with water today ;) The grape is as you say OOF but it is nice to try new things.

aha thanks. Was inspired with the whole lemonade thing that you did so tried it with a grape, just struggled to get it in focus. :s

Posted this for the Collective30 project. Hope it doesn't matter that im going to use it in my personal 365 also!

That's a nice long exposure, a good quality of trails is it the M6, cannot believe that I am onto day 5 and still not light trails from the guy that did over 200 light trails last year.

Still get my car back tomorrow so here comes some light trails me thinks.

Cheers, its the M42 which is just off the M5. Been looking at this shot for ages on google so decided to go for it yesterday. :) Should be able to get some nice trails in London!

This is really nice, with the matching background. I still haven't taken my 7/365 I think I am going to go out and do it now.

Thanks, and yeah - I'm kinda struggling with todays.. :p 4 hours to come up with something :p

Nice reflections, bit mad but my #9 was also taken at a canal basin/marina yesterday evening, and I did take some barges but decided to go with a swan as my image

Sigh - I really am struggling for inspiration at the moment. :D Not to mention I left my camera at home today on the way to uni :bang:

I must get out tommorow and get a nice landscape shot. :)

Made the effort to get out today, but annoyingly as I'm driving it starts tipping it down with rain! Only managed to get about 5 shots as my kit was getting too wet. Still, at least its not a photo I'm running around the house trying to take. :p

I really like your 14 Ben, it is really good, it's so solitary and bleak, nice one.

Thanks. :) Am much prefering getting out earlier in the day and getting some pics rather than messing around in the house late at night.

May start to struggle in Feb tho when I go back to uni.........

I'm only just getting round to checking out other people's 365s, I'm really disorganised :p. LOVE 9 and 13, the colours are just amazing. Some of your photos are just too dark for me though, I know its for added effect but I guess its just a personal thing and it doesn't do it for me :(.

Thanks, and regards the darkness its a fair comment. :) I probably do push them too hard on PP, but I guess its my style. Like you said its personal prefernce I guess. :)

Unfortunately out of focus - never realised it was so hard to get a sharp photo of the moon! Makes me appriciate people who can get them sharp more so than before.

Nice work with these Ben, with 18/365 is that colour representative of the scene or has it been digitally remastered, as that yellow is something else. Keep up the good work.
