logo/company name in photo help

I recently had some prints done for promotion purposes with my logo/ co name in the bottom corner, now these I cropped to the correct size in ps cs3 before adding the text which I positioned away from the edge of the photo, now when I had these printed they had cut the bottom half of my text off!:shrug:

Where did I go wrong or is this a problem at the printers?

Most printers can't print to the edge, sounds like your printing at 100% and you're losing image in the margin. Look for a fit to page option in print properties which will fit the image into the print margins.

Ok thanks, is this on the printers software? I can do it on ps if I am going to print myself, but cant see a way to save the image that way.
