Loft Insulation for £1 a roll - limited offer from Npower

Got this sent to me yesterday. Basically work out how much insulation you presently have and how much you will need in metres squared. Npower will either deliver it to you or you can collect it from a local Build Center depot. You also get goggles, mask, gloves and instructions.

At this price, you'd be mad or just recently have done your loft to ignore this :bonk:

I suggest ringing your local council before buying any insulation. Many of them have schemes running to insulate your house to the new standards. I got a house in Leicester insulated for free. There were no financial checks or any of that. The Council had carried out an Infra Red survey & the house was in a zone that showed up as poor thermal insulation so anyone in that area could qualify. You could also get cavity wall insulation help.
