hi folks.

I am shooting a wedding in Wales next Saturday ... Near Llanelhaearn.

Staying over on the Saturday night, so keen to get out on the Sunday and get some nice landscapes / waterfall shots.

I will be heading back to Manchester for an afternoon party, so don't want something too far off the beaten track.

anyone know any decent locations?

Cheers.

Anth.

The biggest one I know of is Aber Falls - signposted Abergwyngregyn (I think that's the spelling) off the A55.

its off the A55, go under the A55 (away from the sea) turn left by the pub and follow the road to the car park

pystill rheader near oswestry - highest waterfall in in england and wales

You're about 45 minutes away from 3 very nice waterfalls all quite close together...Pistyll Cain, Rhaeadr Mawddach and Rhaeadr DDu all close to Ganllwyd in the Coed Y Brenin forest - your main problem though is going to be the number of people around them so an early start might be needed

Aber falls is nice to look at but tricky to get a good photo of, Pistyll Rhaeadr is very nice but a little in the middle of nowhere so a bit more difficult to fit in with your travel plans

Closest to Llanaelhaearn is the one at Porth Ysgo as seen on Comfy's link above, right in my neck of the woods. In fact the shortest route to it from Llanaelhaearn takes you past my house, so if you need guiding ....

Trouble is this time of year you won't really have any light on it till 11AMish

The Dolgellau area ones are probably the best best

Most of the falls around me are pretty low on water at the moment.
