Have a look on the OS overlay available on Bing Maps, it is a handy and free way of seeing everything you'd see on an OS map before buying one, if you want.
Also look at The Photographer's Ephemeris ( http://photoephemeris.com/ ). It shows the time and direction of sunrise and sunset for anywhere on any day. It also shows the direction of the sun throughout the day which can be useful in shot planning.
If you want coastal shots check the tide times online.
This site - ( http://www.geograph.org.uk/ ) has photos of almost everywhere in the UK and Ireland.
If you want windmill shots then the north Norfolk coast has plenty (lists online) and just about anywhere on that coast is worth having a look at.

Depends on what you like to photograph. If you're into mountain vista's you might be a tad disappointed [emoji4]
Lots of coastal scenes or inland slightly there's the Norfolk Broads. I suggest you Google local photographer's Web sites to give you some inspiration.
Here are a few off the top of my head to try: Justin Minns, Chris Herring, Jon Gibbs, Gareth Hacon
Cambridge is good - historic buildings, people. Church opposite Kings has a tower you can go up, lots of villages with nice churches too.
Newmarket if you like horses.
Bury St E has the Abbey Gardens
Out the door,turn left...
.. honestly, just get out and about and respond with your camera to what you see. East Anglia is a big area and has a lo of different motifs to offer. If you can't find something, it may be time to put down the camera and take up knitting![]()
Whereabouts are you thinking in East Anglia? The Broads are lovely as is Herringfleet as mentioned. The coast is full of potential wherever really. Lee Acaster and Matthew Dartford are other excellent photographers in that area you might want to look up
