Having a 2 night pre Christmas break in Bridlington next week and fancied getting a few pics. I don't know the place at all and would be grateful for any location suggestions in that area. Thanks in advance.

Hi David Round the harbour. The square by the fun fair is good for street stile people shots . May be a bit deserted if cold, some good sunrises. Bempton cliffs R S P B is just down the road

Have a quick drive up to flambrough which is only a couple of miles away, nice rugged shoreline/beaches/cliffs and a lighthouse also providing it is landscapes you are into.

Bridlington!?....

You may have seen this before but it's still hilarious

Thanks Russell. Is it easy enough to get down to the water on Flamborough Head?

+ 1 for Bempton & Flamborough - actually 2 lighthouses if you inc the old one.

Car park at the top and a steep path down but not too taxing for most. Also check out North landing where the car park is a little further away say 400 yards again sloping down.

Danes dyke is also well worth a visit, the beach is beautiful too, in fact East Yorkshire is a stunning place full stop.

Sean.

Another vote for flamborough. Selwick bay, thornwick bay and north landing are the best spots i think.

Thanks guys. I've identified all mentioned except Danes Dyke. I take it is Flamborough Head as well?

Yeah it's just before flamborough in a dip in the road which is quite dark but as it's winter time the leaves that usually block out light over the road will have all dropped off now.

Sean.

Your welcome mate.
