Locations around malham

Staying in malham in the dales this weekend and seeing as I'm going with a photographer mate, we intend to squeeze in a little landscape photography. Ideally sunset, sunrise, maybe some star trails. I know there are a few obvious locations such as the cove, lone tree, the tarn and gordale scar but just wondering if there is anything a little less done to death that we should be seeking out. Ideally walking distance from malham itself.

Its on the opposite side of the road to Goredale scar on the road from Malham going towards goredale scar, there is limited car parking , its a bit far to carry a tripod from Malham if you want to do any slow shutter shots at the falls.

I think I've walked it before. Tripod is fairly light so I should be ok.

It is, if you cross the road away from Gordale Scar, theres a path down to a pretty little waterfall and pool, if you come from Malham, you walk down the side of some farmland and then through a bit of woodland to get to it, otherwise round there you've more or less done it, if you have a look in my flickr at the Dales set they were all taken around Malham
