Location Lighting (Weddings)

Rule of thumb is you need a minimum of 400-600Ws to produce good results under a variety of conditions (the more power the better TBH) so battery-powered portable strobes. Like the Elinchrom Quadra series that was really the first of this type, though there are many more options available now.

And prices have come down, but still not cheap.

Calumet gf400 flash . Fantastic bit of kit

Ads above, if you want to overpower daylight, 600Ws is a rule of thumb.

If I was starting today, I'd get the Godox AD600b with ETTL

I personally have the Safari2, which works well, and for less power a Godox ad360.
