My wife and i will be visiting there tommorow just for the day, and i wondered if anyone knew of anything worth seeing whilst we are there.
Many thanks..

Well I take it youre going to take in Horse Shoe Pass ... stunningly fabulous!
I hear there are a few waterfalls near by too but not sure where.

Im sure Sie, or someone with a good knowledge of the place will be along to give you some pointers.
Have a good trip! :)

It depends on how far you want to travel. If you are staying in town it's just shops and retail parks, just like the rest of the country.
A better option would be a short trip of about 5 miles to Conwy.
Castle, RSPB bird reserve, Boat trips on the river, Smallest House in Great Britain on the quay, Butterfly World, good scenery from the town walls.

Gareth.

I haven't really been to Llandudno for a while. We did do a quick day trip earlier this year, but IIRC it was quite a poor show. Everywhere was either closed or boarded up / derelict / earmarked for 'renovation'.....And the chips from the one place that was open were rubbish...lol

We only had a quick walk along the front anyway, so didn't really explore much.

Sorry, I know it doesnt help, but...

Many thanks for the replies, as i have twisted my knee at work i wont be venturing too far away, but i'll make a note not to try the chips there.
cheers

I have rode around and across it on a bike but other than the wilder side I don't know much of it. There is of coarse a known railway station there and occasionally you have the old steam engines coming through and the spotters line the roads with cameras and video exuipment.

When people ask me what a place I know is like I usually tell them how good the forest is or what the summits are like e.t.c cause I don't visit the towns but the wild places :) Usually they look at me with digust and I have to :coat:

If I am going anywhere I will always check my OS 50 as it will have most features marked up even the larger waterfalls.
