Live stream a private event

Hi folks, wondering if anyone can help me out on this please.

I have being asked if it is possible to live stream a private event ( a funeral ) , I have suggested facebook but that was ruled out as some family member are not on facebook.

I have looked at youtube but I am unable to get it working on my phone, have tried all settings but no luck.

Are there any other platforms out there where I would be able to live stream?

Youtube will let you set up a live stream and it will also let you do it as a 'public' stream or a 'private' stream. I just tested this ahead of posting this and it all seems to work okay.
However, I do have a youtube channel of long standing and setting up a live stream did require me to do some verification.

I made a new youtbe channel, and I made a live stream straight away. Verification was only a code, sent to my mobile.
