little help needed with lighting pls.....

hey guys i eed a bit of a hand, i have been shooting macro (insects) with a flash and i have a homemade diffuser on it, i have been shooting dragonflies etc and every time i have flash glow in the eyes like a little white box of BoH. how do i get round this?

get a proper diffuser? lower the power? or wat im not sure......

help pls, it doesnt detract 2 much from the images but i would like to be able to do something bout it if pos.... :shrug:

Well I shoot them without the flash. That tends to help!

yeh i know thats one option lol, but a) that is well hard and b) i cant seem to crack it for insects, flowers etc yeh o worries bit damsel flies etc i find well hard to do handheld.......

i know a lot of people shoot macro with flash so thought i would ask...
