Hi
I am not sure how this works but I have a question about studio photography and hope someone might be able to help me. I have a canon 350D and have been trying out some studio photography. I used one flash head fired into a silver umbrella - the background was white I had the camera set on M with the flash sync I think thats what you call it at 80 and the aperture at 7.1. The problem is the backdrop is not white it is grey. The flash is an old courtney and I don't think its that powerful the actual photographs are fine and the subjects clothing comes out white - help I don't know what to do. I do have another flash head but didn't want double catch lights in the eyes. I hope I don't sound like an idiot I am new to this. Thank you
