Curious to know what folk think of it.
I've had it running on my iMac for a few weeks, I seem to have to force quit Safari at least once a day when it freezes, previously it was once every 6 months! I've also noticed Lightroom seems to be running slow too

Anybody had similar issues?

I've been running it on my i5 iMac since it was launched with no issues that I've noticed. I've also just installed it on a Macbook pro and it seems fine so far. I've no doubt there'll be updates out soon for any known issues anyway.

Overall I really like Lion and for the first time using a laptop I don't feel like I'm missing a mouse with all the finger swipes and gestures on offer.

Generally Ok apart from lightroom. Importing takes forever and often hangs, needing a force quit. It also seems a little slow. Its quite a pain with regards than but everything else just flys along.

I've had mine running since release on my mid 2011 27" iMac and so far I haven't encountered any big problems.

All my software so far has worked flawlessly, only real thing I've noticed is that it takes slightly longer to boot!

Interested in others findings as I have not yet taken the plunge. There seem to be one or two small issues on the Users Forum which all are convinced will be put right when the next updates are issued.

Strange - about two weeks ago there was an update to Snow Leopard which included Safari updates to make it ready for the Lion switch - ever since it has been producing screen pixellation when returning to the history screen, (I do this a lot as I tend to use a limited number of sites). Cache and history cleans, including 'top sites' has not resolved it.
This is not yet annoying other than for the fact that Safari has been the most stable browser I have ever used:shake:

Safari has been more stable post update to lion for me. The only hassle I've had has been with MS Office not playing nicely on start-up. I've had no crashing worries though. All round I'm very happy with the upgrade!

I haven't updated yet because I haven't had time to research yet whether or not there are any adverse effects in Aperture or Logic. I've generally never had any issues with OS updates from Apple though, so I'm sure I'll get around to this update shortly.

So it looks like just me having issues with Safari freezing. As it only started after installing Lion, any one got any ideas what to do, other than going back to Snow Leopard?

May be worth a look on the Apple users forum

- go to imac then use Safari and Lion as keywords in the search panel - there are a few!
minor glitches;) none of which involve uninstalling Lion

safari freezes a lot for me too.

indesign is also slower than it was on SL, and takes forever to close, normally crashing in the process forcing me to force quit it every time i want to quit indesign...

I haven't installed Lion yet, but I have updated to the new Safari and it has been freezing a lot. Also getting a new error a lot of the time, which I'd never seen before where I have to "force reload" all pages. Very irritating.
