Hi all
Bit of a problem I hope someone can help with.
Got a dock for my Pro3 to enable it to be used linked to Dell UH monitor
All works well except the display isn't sharp and in lightroom when I enlarge the image its rubbish
This isn't the case using the normal screen at 100%
I have downloaded a driver but I am unsure about where it goes
Any Surface Experts out there???

What operating system are you running? If I recall correctly then before windows 10 the scaling factor had to be the same for each monitor.

As such I ran it at 100% for my external monitor. However in Windows 10 you can set independent scaling.

General recommendation was to get a 4K external monitor as they match the internal resolution/scaling best.

I am still using windows 8.1 but the screen is a very high spec although not 4k

In that case when in the docking station you'd want to select 100% scaling. As a windows quirk you would have to apple and then logout and login for it to become effective. And then when out and about and using the inbuilt screen you have to scale back to 150% or whatever you are comfortable with.

Upgrading to windows 10 significantly improves this windows quirk.

Right click on the desktop and then display properties. Make text smaller or greater should be in there somewhere.
