Guy's i contacted epic games to see why my son couldn't play fortnite with friends cross platform and they said it was because he's playing via a nameless account. After a bit of back and forth they told me how to link his fortnite account to an epic games account. It seemed simple enough but when i logged in to do this i am filling out the registration part but it states the display name is taken. I know this as it's my sons but if i choose another name at this point how will it connect them? It takes epic days to get back to me so i thought I'd ask here.
