Anyone know of any WW2 look presets or has one they would like to share?

Can you explain?

What is a WWII look? How would you describe a WWII look. If you meant say sepia tone or low saturation, all these effects are readily available. I did produce a WWII picture a while ago it was a picture of a Montgomery look alike placed on a background of a re-enacted Normandy tank battle. I turned this to B&W. Of course this is a composite not a preset.

I mean a look that looks like it was taken during WW2. If sepia tone or low saturation is how photos of that era looked then yes, sepia tone or low saturation. That would assume I knew what sepia tone or low saturation looked like - which I didn't.

I don't think WW2 photographs have any defining 'look' other than the subjects. You will have to be more specific about what you want to get out of this.

Only you know what you want.
Find a photo of that era, it will be B&W,then play with the LR B&W presets and PS until you get the look you are after.
Your starting photo will be on film , probably a bit grainy , unsharp and possibly slightly OOF.
Have a look here https://www.archives.gov/research/military/ww2/photos for some photos from that era.

@jamesev have a look here: https://www.on1.com/free/lightroom-presets/ particularly the kids matte presets and the grain and film presets.

Personally, I use the free version of Nik Silver Efex as a lightroom plugin for any kind of mono conversion, and that's full of presets to give you a starting point for your own ideas.

Just for the record, Kodachrome existed during WW2 and there are colour images from that era. The Imperial War Museum has a collection, but I believe they're quite rare. Just something to bear in mind if you're interested in 'creating' WW2 photographs.
