Found answer over on L/R forum, on going with Adobe.
It seems to say it doesn't support putting the files in Trash from that drive, so you would be permanently deleting them with no way of getting them back
I get the same message when I delete images, as all of my images are stored on my NAS. It's an Operating system message telling you that the images will be permanently deleted and not sent to the recycling bin where they can be recovered, although my NAS has it's own trash system but the OS doesn't know about it.
To fix this is easy. Open Finder, click on your external USB drive, make a new folder on it called TRASH (or anything for that matter). The simply hold down CMD and click on Delete <-
No idea if it works. I don’t get that error message.
