Im just playing about with Lightroom on my mac, one of the features that I do like the look of is under metadata browser, its the Location option. I like the idea of simply sorting/filtering the shots that I took at a specific location. So today ive started adding the City/State/Country info to my shots, ive found this is really slow... ive highlighted 1000 shots from Silverstone, entered England into the "country" field, pressed return and it takes over a minute to add the info, having checked the system resources its using 100% CPU A, but it isnt touching CPU B,C or D... which implies LR or at least the Metadata side of it isnt multithreaded, which is quite disappointing. Can anyone confirm whether this is the case or whether I need to alter LR preferances?
