Lightroom - turning on image "status" icons

OK, I'm missing something blindingly obvious here I expect but I'm in the process of moving from one machine to another and I'm trying to get Lightroom setup the way I want on the new box. I'm almost there but the new copy doesn't show the little icons in the bottom right of the grid view thumbnail which indicate if the image has a keyword, been adjusted or cropped. I find these really useful as a marker to show how far I've got through a particular directory but I can't for the life of me find where to turn them on and the "help" just isn't at the moment, although I suppose it would help if I knew the proper name for them.

Any ideas?
