Lightroom Trial On a Mac

Just wondering if anyone can help me...

I downloaded and trialed lightroom, probably earlier this year and didn't really get on with it. I am a lifelong Photoshop user, and it just seemed a bit restrictive.

However, I feel I have moved forward as most of my editing is now either in ACR or non-destructive in PS CS3 and I really need to get to grips with Lightroom, and want to trial it again.

Is there any way I can dump my original download completely in such a manner that Adobe lets me trial it again? Or have I blown my chances?
 
or better still try aperture blows the socks off lightroom!
 
If the latest version on their website is different to the version you trialed you might be ok.

Although like mentioned above, just sign up for another email address and use that to register the trial.
