Lightroom - slow downloads from D3

Hopefully someone can help me here. Importing D3 RAW files from the CF card seems to take forever - much slower than the D300 and exporting is taking forever as well.

Is this a computer issue or just because the files are slightly larger? The CF card is a Sandisk Extreme III and the pc has 2gb of memory.

Anyone?
 
Do you have the RAW settings to lossless compression?
 
Never had a problem Colin.

I assume you have updated the camera RAW plugin?
