I cancelled my subscription the other month and deciding whether to sign up again with a subscription of just buy out right as I've not really used photoshop but would like to.

Anyway in my research i found this offer which might be of use to some of you.

Im still not decided on what to do with 6 round the corner (supposedly) o_O

Normally £8.57 but via this webpage its £7.28

I've also been wondering whether to rent or buy, anyone got any opinions? How easy is it to cancel the subscription version?

My sub finished last month only becuase i changed banks and adobe didnt get the new details and couldnt take payment, so they hounded me to update my payment details which i didnt and it just ran out.

It looks a very very good deal at that price.

I am happy sticking with CS6 :)

Well at the end of the day, £2.00 odd a week, go for it for a year, then if you don't like it, just cancel. there's no obligation

Personally prefer buying outright. I do most of dev in LR and find Elements enough of a photoshop for when LR won't do, so at the box product pricing for those, it works out cheaper than the subscription over the 2 year product cycle.

Works even better when you catch Elements 11 on a £30 deal on Amazon one day, and the Elements 10 you already own is still fetching £50 on eBay.

I don't thing you're even in for the year. You're simply hiring it on a monthly basis.
Lightroom and Photoshop for two sovs a week? Go for it. Well worth a punt.

I took the plunge a year ago. Wouldn't be without it now.

Thats a good point as i don't really use photoshop. Hopefully version 6 will be out very soon.

Decisions, decisions!
