So which one is better to process raw images? I have currently lightroom 4 and elements 11.

I usually used a mixture of both but after getting more comfortable with lightroom lately im thinking of using it more and elements only for applying some effects etc.
Is there something lightroom cant do what elements can which I don't know about yet? :D

Which one do u use and why?
And if u use both what do u use elements for and what do u use lightroom for?

Im thinking about upgrading to lightroom 5 to get more use out of it.

As the PP. I use LR for around 85% of my processing, only using Elements for layers or special effects.

I think we all agree, they're different products and Lightroom now is quite powerful so most of the time is sufficient for all the processing that's needed and when it's not then you go to Photoshop (Elements or not) to finish it off. I try to do as much as possible on LR as it is non-destructive and takes less space than an image with layers once you edit in Photoshop.

+1 for Lightroom. I brought both but I've taken to Lightroom better and I've not come across anything I want to do to an image that it can't handle (yet).

i use aperture to process my images and pse9 for any thing else both have there place

90% LR then any Layers and stuff in PS (with Photomatix and Nik plug ins), for me.
