Ok, if I select 25 images in LR and then try and add a keyword it only adds it to one image. This also happens if I try and select multiple images and then click the exposure arrows.

I probably should have asked this question ages ago as I am forever having to repeat the same thing over and over again.

Are you selecting them in the filmstrip or the grid?

From your question I have just tried it with the images at the top and it works, yipeeeeee. A bit daft it you ask me, it should work either way!!

do it in the grid and it'll work :)

Don't think I've ever used the filmstrip for anything! I keep it collapsed.

I keyword by selecting all the relevant pictures in the grid then drag a keyword on to one of the selected pictures.

Thanks everyone, I have just been keywording the NW meet from yesterday. It is SOOOO much easier now I can do multiple ones.

Unfortunately the only bird I can specifically identify is the whooper swan and only because I took a photo of the name board at the back of the hide !

I also think it is silly that it doesn't work both ways, I've yet to try it on the beta software though, so I'll do that later and raise it as an issue/feature request with Adobe if it doesn't.

There are a few such anomalies if you are viewing a smart folder you can't delete rejected photos so you have to click on the folder and then delete it. What if you are looking at all the images tagged say birds and you reject 20 which are in several actual folders. You have to go into each folder or click the top level one which will also delete any other rejects! Still learning how to get the most of it but still prefer if to aperture.
