Having to temporarily use my iPad I downloaded the Lightroom App (free with my CC Subscription).
Using a lightning to SD card reader I uploaded 58 RAW files which I watched upload and are visible in 'Photos'.
When trying to import these into Lightroom for iPad I select 'recently added' to import the 58 files but nothing happens.
Any ideas please?

I might be wrong and I think it might be different on an iPad pro but the lightroom app works on "smart previews" of photos that you have uploaded to the cloud via your proper PC. I don't think you can upload raws directly to it. The images you can see in Photos are the embedded jpegs in the raw.

Ah, not much help there then, thanks :)

If I'm out and about but need to do something with an image on the ipad, I shoot in raw + jpeg and upload the jpeg to the ipad and process it in the Adobe Photoshop app. It's limited but enough to get something sorted quick for social media or a website. The raws go into Lightroom when back home.

Seems to work for me. Click add photos- go to recently added, select which photos you want to import and then click blue bar at the bottom which should say "add 58 photos"

I don't see the recently added photos shown in LR so don't get the option to add them
