Lightroom ...little blue outline

Was messing with my histogram and i now have little blue bits which appear on sharp edges (particularly black ones) throughout my library. It's not actually modifying the image...its trying to highlight something...what is it? And how do i switch it off!

Yes it's telling you that the shadows are clipping. What you've done is click on the inverted triangle on the left hand side of the histogram. Click on it again and it should disappear. If you click on the similar symbol on the right hand side of the histogram it'll show you those highlights that are being clipped in red.

If you need just a quick check, on either highlight or shadow clipping just pass your mouse over the icons without clicking and it'll show you the clipped pixels.Moving off the icon turns off the warning

Click the arrows in the top left / right hand corner of the histogram: they toggle on and off over / underexposed parts of the image as far as I recall. Bit vague... at work and haven't got lightroom here
