Right, been using LR for some years now, since LR3, been using LR5 since available.

Overnight, something strange has happened to imports.

Whether the imports are jpeg/RAW and no matter what camera they are coming from i.e. 5D iii/7D/LX7/X100 and no matter whether new pics or years old, import is adding a colour cast and taking off some stops in exposure.

So, importing a colour pic results in a darker exposure with some added amber saturation. Most apparent in B&W imports which are bordering on orange! Convert a colour pic into B&W in LR and it's got this amber tint to it (sliders in neutral).

When originals viewed in Zoom/Ex browser, View NX, whatever they're fine and when exported back again, they're fine. IN LR, they're not.

Same PC, same monitor, no hardware changes. Before now, viewing an image before import say in Zoombrowser/View NX and after import in LR, they were the same. Not now!

I'm aware of issues re importing RAW into LR etc. but this is something else.

Import presets are at none.

Be obliged for any ideas? Even if I'm being blindingly stupid about something.

On the thumbnails at the bottom of the screen is there a box with a +/- symbol?

Also have you tried simply pressing the reset button in the develop module. Does this make any difference ?
Also check ot Camera Calibration are the slider in the neutral position , and is the process selected 2012 and is the profile anything odd. By default it's Adobe Standard

Thanks chaps. I did put a reply in thread last night but it didn't carry over on changeover.

Long story short, last night it was fine!!

Have no idea what happened, as I'd spent about an hour on Tuesday making sure everything was zeroed, calibrated monitor (although sure that wasn't the problem as everything else was OK), re-booted, re-installed etc. but nada. Switch on yesterday, it's fine. So, remains one of those (frustrating) mysteries...
