Lightroom importing error

Hi, just upgraded from a D60 to a 2nd hand D90, and on my first try at processing found that I get the error "file appears to be unsupported or damaged".
Everything was fine with the D60. Am using LR 2.0.

try updating - there are several LR2.xx from memory

just found out need LR 2.1 or above- I have no upgrade option!

You should be able to update Lightroom 2 to the 2.7 version.......

If you have problems then there is always the free DNG Converter to convert files to DNG format and then (I think) you should be able to open them in Lightroom 2

You should be able to update this for free, try Abobe site.

Not yet, although I'm thinking of 'using' a student who works here to buy the student edition LR3 for me at only £64! (That's if the update fails later after I've backed up my catalogue to another PC)

I bought both L3 for £65 and CS5 Extended for £185 both Student/Teacher versions and both full commercial versions
