Lightroom import preferences. How do I set these?

Whenever I try and import into LR the default setting is always shown as added order. I don't know what this means but images don't appear in the order they were taken.
I have to manually set the import preference to Capture Time. Is there a way to make this default? I can't find it in the settings, but it could well be hidden somewhere I haven't found.

In the import section, when you have dialled in whatever settings you want to apply at import, if you go the the bottom of the window, there is a preset drop-down box.
If you click on the drop down tab, there is an option to save current settings as a user preset.
After doing this, you can import using that preset, or any other preset you have made.

Thanks. I've done that, but when it gets to the library it reorders them into the seeming default setting of cature time. i can't see anything in the library to sort them into capture time other that manually setting it every time. I set the drop down box both on the import and the library pages to capture time, but it keeps changing itself just when import beginbs.
