Interestingly there seem to be a few threads on here about Lightroom issues at the moment, I wonder if there is a common issue with a recent update or something.
I have been using Lightroom 5.7 successfully for several months and importing directly from my Canon 70D.
A few weeks ago Lightroom started having problems connecting to the camera. The computer still connects to the camera ok, and I have at times copied directly from the camera to the hard drive and then imported to LR, but this is a pain in the butt. However LR is having a major problem connecting to the camera and finding images.
Given enough time it does seem to find the images and will import, but in the import panel, all the images are replaced with small panels saying "no preview available".
I've tried reformatting the memory card but no effect.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any insights appreciated.
