Lightroom: How to export pictures...

i have edit some pictures on lightoom and added a signature, when i export them, they all come with a background round the pictures, how do i remove this so this is just the picture...

I found a way to export, but when i do i loose my signature?

And help would be great

How are you exporting? What plugins are you using?

I'm assuming you are adding the signature in slideshow. That would be he reason for the background as you are actually exporting the slide rather than just the picture. You could just crop the background out.

How are you adding a signature, there is no text tool in LR? Unless as "fabs" says, you are doing it in the slideshow module? Exporting the image exports what you see in the Develop module.

I use LR/Mogrify. A small donation and you can do many things with the export, as well as adding your signature.

Could be lightroom 3 beta. Doesn't that add proper watermarks?

Lightroom 1 & 2 adds watermarks, but they are tiny and in the bottom right corner.

Mogrify is good, or you could create an action in photoshop, save it as a droplet and add it to the export function.

Is the signature the copyright watermark?

If so remove it by unticking the box in the "Export" dialogue. ( I think)

He doesn't want to remove the watermark, he wants to remove the background around the image. As I said, it looks like he is using the slideshow to add the watermark.
