lightroom flickering then turning off

can anyone help please, lightroom keeps flickering as shown in the video i've uploaded and then, sometimes closes, it can happen anytime and doesnt seem to be related to what im doing at the time, has anyone else had this happen please and if so was there a solution?

it wouldnt let me upload the vid as its too big, can anyone hlp anyway
 
Never happened to me - very occasionally it can be unresponsive to a command

Are you using LR6 or CC

if you don't get an answer or it continues doing it I would delete the application and reinstall it
 
hi thanks for the answer im using cc. i thought about uninstalling but wondered what would happen to my images.

Your images will be fine as long as you only delete the application

but presumably you are backing them up, once on your main computer and again on an external hard disk, (external storage is really cheap and you should really back your hard drive up automatically during the day) ...... and maybe again on another hard disk
