Lightroom files importing into wrong folder

When I tried to import images from a card reader today, all the images went into a wrong folder, not the one I listed in the import dialogue. Something that's never happened before and as far as I know I haven't changed any settings in Lightroom that may have caused this.

I'm using the latest version of LR CC2015. Any help or advice would be most appreciated.

Try another import and see if it happens again.

An inadvertent click on a folder is always a possibility.

Thanks for the reply Phil. I tried another import but got the same result. I then deleted the one folder the files were ending up in and after that all went back to normal.

I've no idea what could have caused it, totally stumped. When I've finished editing I'll put the folder back on Lightroom and see if it happens again.
