Lol..having just recommended Lightroom3 I'm having a problem..if it is a problem.

I posted a photo a few days ago and someone asked what lens I was using. I'd assumed the exif data was there but it isn't. In Library mode the basic exif is showing -date,time,camera,lens shutter speed, focal length-etc. After export it does not show..I've tried a google on it but can't find an answer. Anyone any ideas ?

There should be some options in the export menu box that pops up concerning metadata.

If you set it to "All" you should have exif in the exported JPEG.

----EDIT----
Just remembered I'm talking about the LR4 beta not LR3, ignore my advice :bonk:

Thanks for your response, Adam..I'll ignore that then.lol.

Cheers Marc..I've just tried that and unchecked the minimize box. I did look at that and read that checking it will keep the exif data to a minimum-ie. just the basic settings and the camera info rather than all the editing in Develop mode as well so I checked it. I've just exported two photos and taken them into CS2 File>Info. with it unchecked and the basic settings are now showing and none of the Develop editing actions so I'm not sure what leaving it checked has done apart from not showing the basics -The answer probably lies in Preferences somewhere but I've now got exif data- many thanks.
