In LR2 I am unsure if this is possible and haven't found an answer after a few minutes of searching.

I export a fair few images for web galleries which need thumbnail images for each fullsize image. Currently, I have to do two exports in LR2 to achieve this - is there a way for me to do it all in one?

Thanks! :)

A bit messy, but if you get LR to do a Web export, it'll produce sets of images at 3 different resolutions. thumbs, medium and large ( these are relative). Go to the destination you specified and select the appropriate folders where you'll find the images.

Not very elegant, but practical!

If you are on Mac you could write something in Automator/Applescript to go in the export actions menu at the bottom of the Export window. I'm not sure how you would do this on Windows.

Or just do the two exports as soon as you have pressed OK on the bigger ones go back into the Export menu and change the size for the thumbnails and leave them running at the same time.

If there aren't too many pictures, you can use Flickr. They will resize your uploaded photos into many sizes including thumbnails.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay in replying - went and broke my toe so not had much chance to get back here.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Web export sounds like what I needed and the other advice will also be handy.

Thanks! :)
