Hi All, hope someone can help...

I've just installed Lightroom 2 and went to import some RAW images from my D60, due to having a small screen on my laptop I tried to re-size the dialog box and it disappeared! Problem is, I can't get it back which is a real PITA.

Now, when I try to import anything from a device I can't see any of the options and when I click anywhere on the screen I just get an error beep but if I press return the import starts - clearly having no import options isn't a sustainable situation.

I've tried reinstalling it but to no avail and when I reinstalled it it didn't ask for the product key again so I assume it's remembering some settings somewhere - I've deleted all references to Lightroom on the hard drive and it still doesn't ask for the key so I'm guessing the file is somewhere amongst my other Adobe files

Oh, I've also tried resetting everything I can find in options to default...

Can anyone help? it's driving me nuts!

edit: oh, OS is Windows XP

Make sure you've got hidden files & folders visible and then do a search in your user folder for a file called "LightRoom 2 Preferences"

Delete or rename that and try again.

Mmm, that didn't seem to work but after installing an update it came back

C'est la vie...

A lesson learnt though is that the dialogue box box can't be resized and really the screen on a Dell Mini 9 isn't quite big enough for Lightroom.

:)
