I can't find an answer to this in general google searchs - so thought I'd ask here.

Up until a while ago - whenever I ticked 'enable profile corrections' in the develop module - it would auto-fill with the lens I used, and apply the correction.

Recently (the last month or so) - when I now tick 'enable profile corrections' it just shows 'default' and doesn't apply any correction. If I select 'Auto' and then 'Lens profile: Canon' - sometimes it'll put in the right lens sometiems it won't. It doesn't seem to like my Canon 16-35 2.8 mk2, but is ok with my 70-200 2.8 mk1 (Which is much older).

I don't recall changing anything other than applying the usual regular updates. Is there a way I can get it to automatically select the lens used, and apply the correction as it used to do?

I have two lenses that Lightroom CC Classic won't automatically identify from the EXIF info.

What I did was manually select the lens details from the drop down menus and then I saved a Lightroom preset that contained only the lens profile and nothing else.
Give the preset a suitable name then you can apply it with a single mouse click. With multiple images selected you can apply the same preset to them all in one go.

Probably a silly question but are they JPEG’s?

It used to do it automatically - click it - and it would apply - not sure what's changed - if it's something I did - or a software update - but doesn't seem like it's a common issue according to google...

It’s happened after the last firmware update. I noticed it too.
I have seen comments on other sites about this. No solution was offered.
