Lightroom Classic and GPU Acceleration

As per the title, if I add an Nvidia GTX 1060 3 meg to my system will I notice a difference when developing images?

Currently I'm using an intel i7-3770k-3.50Ghz cpu with 16 meg of 1332 ddr and the integrated graphics on the motherboard which seems to do the job but I'm always looking to speed things up if I can.

I'd say no.

Lightroom gpu acceleration in my experience has always been best disabled.

Even with a 980ti it does not make a noticeable difference.

If you haven't already then get an Ssd instead and have your cat and at least your working set of images stored there.

Thanks Neil, I did wonder, and yes my first drive is an SSD.
