I have been a user of LR since V3 and whilst I love the interface and usability, it is starting to drive me nuts and is all because of the cloud interface and sync issues.
What in theory should be a great idea, in practice doesn’t work anymore. Most of my photography is away from home on my travels and for this I use my iPad Pro to import to the camera roll, into LR CC (deleting from camera roll) and editing.
In theory this should be a great solution as my images sync to the cloud and back to my desktop at home for archive and any more in depth edits (like hdr or pano stitching). The problem is it doesn’t work! I have currently got 272 images trying to sync and this number isn’t reducing, meaning that the photos are stuck taking up space on my ipad and also not syncing with my desktop. Adobe also seem little to no help in fixing this issue. The problem is I can’t seem to find another solution.
I have tried Affinity and I struggle with the interface and Capture One or DXO do a version for iPad Pro, any help,or suggestions gratefully received
