Lightroom can't do 4K slideshow?

Just noticed this apparent limitation with LR CC. Is there a work around?

If not any freebie bits of software for doing it with the same sort of functionality?

On a mac btw.

Downloaded 4k slideshow maker but it crashes as soon as I either click on show preview or make slideshow.
