Lightroom Autoplay with EOS 400D

Hi all,

I have Adobe Lightroom 2.6 64bit running on windows 7. When I insert a CF card, I get the option to import pictures from the card to lightroom. I would also like the option to do this directly from the camera when plugged in via USB.

I have checked the autoplay options for the device but Lightroom is not an option. Does anyone know how to add it?

As you see I get the option for mixed content, but its not in the device autoplay list

Lightroom will only import via a Camera card reader or Import from a location already on a hard drive.

If you want to import from the camera then you'd need to download via the EOS utility, then import,from the download folder, using the "Import but leave in current location" option.

The best option is to get a card reader to be honest. It only cost a few pounds and is a more reliable way of downloading images.

Oh so its not a one stop program then.
you might like to use ZoomBrowser to import them it will make folders for each date.

You can import from a device in the menu within Lightroom.

File -> Import Photos from Device

I just want to be able to do it from the autoplay
