I use the adjustment brush to even up a white background using the exposure slider up full. This paints a nice bright white onto the image. Or at least, it did....

My 15 month old daughter decided to have a whack at my keyboard, now the brush paints on a faint white, then when closed changes the painted area to the desired bright white. I'm using the LR3 beta, I've checked the settings against LR2 and they're exactly the same, so I don't know why this is happening. All I want is for it to paint a nice bright white straight onto the image straight away, any ideas?

Ok, I knew this would happen, I've searched for an hour with no joy, posted this thread and have found it straight away.

Just need to press O. :bonk:

I may as well stick to this thread, but does anyone else get a problem with (on a Mac anyway) the spinning beach ball when using the brush a fair bit? I have 4GB of RAM but it's an absolute nightmare, started hanging for anything up to 5 minutes and driving me insane. I never got it this badly with Aperture.
