Hi guys.

I'm getting a strange problem with Lightroom 5.6 where when editing an image there is a yellow tint that isn't there once the file is saved?

I have exported the out of camera raw file to photoshop CC where there is no yellow tint at all so this problem seems to occur only in Lightroom.

Any ideas on what could be going on?

Here is a picture showing the colour difference between the image as seen in Lightroom (with the yellow tint) and the exact same file once saved.

it also looks you have a similar tint on the histogram. maybe some weird gpu behaviour? Have you tried disabling gnu?

EDIT

Ignore me, I have just noticed your are on lightroom 5.

I've managed to sort the problem after receiving done advice from another forum by using a calibration program called Calibrize.

My monitor seems very dim to me now but I guess that I'm not used to a calibrated monitor (I realise it's probably not calibrated properly as it's calibrated by eye rather than by hardware).

Alls well then. But I am confused how monitor calibration has fixed the problem since it was showing in screenshots, and only in part of the screen...

I have no idea. It's as if Lightroom was using a different profile to the rest of the computer!

^This.... if it was showing in screenshots this is NOT a monitor issue. If your monitor needed calibrating it would NOT show in screengrabs. Plus.. the entire screen would be yellow not just the LR window. It was probably a profiling issue, but I've no idea why only LR would be using another ICC or ICM profile.

Weird, huh?

I found a person on another forum that I frequent that had exactly the same problem that I was facing so it's not an isolated one.
