Lightroom 6 Trial Download

I'm currently away with a laptop without lightroom on it. As I already have lightroom 6 on my mac at home (but no serial number with me) could I download lightroom 6 trial and then enter the serial number when im back? I've found out what I used to edit with on the laptop doesn't accept D750 files.I would only ever be using the mac or the laptop so never both together. Am I on the right tracks that I could do that?

If you download the trail from Adobe's website it should have a 30day trial with it

Thanks Joe, I'm downloading it now, I'm hoping I can put the serial number in when I'm home and get away from the CC subscription as I use standalone LR.

Think you're normally allowed to legitimately install on 2 machines ...
