Lightroom 4.1 issues importing photos

Last week upgraded to lightroom 4.1. (on i mac)
Also upgrades canon 7d firmware to v 2.03.

imported my first photos into lightroom 4.1 today, canon 7d connected via usb lead (as per usual). import copy and convert to dng(as per normal) but following import many of the photos 25-50% are marked with a question mark (fie not found). re formatted card tried again, same issue.

So opened up lightroom 3.6, connected camera in same way , and all the same files imported as per usual.

anybody else with this issue?

I have tested with my 5d mkii, no issues, Lightroom 4 sees' it when connected, and all photo's imported,

tried again with the 7d and lightroom 24 does not see the camera when connected with the same usb lead, soI have to select import and proceed, but not all photos are imported.

Reconnect 7d with lightroom 3.6 and no issues.
