I have just been given a copy of lightroom 3 by someone at college, there seems a lot going on and things to do on it, someone said to me that lightroom 3 pretty much does everything for you PP. I must be using it wrong.

Some of it I have sussed but not really had a chance to do much with it, yesterday I was taking photos & (VIDEOS) of the stroke groups sports day. the battery life is amazing when taking photos, but drinks it as soon as you switch to video, but managed all afternoon on 1 battery.

I do 95%+ of my processing in LR3 easily the best and fastest way to process and catalogue your pictures.

Once you get the hang of the basics, which aren't that complicated than Lightroom becomes easy.

Go to the Adobe, and the NAPP sites and you'll find loads of video's

Julian,

Are you popping round on Monday? If so I will give you a crash course :)

are we ok around 1pm on Monday?

Littleun is going to London with Brownies tomorrow morning until midnight Sunday when the coach drops them back home.

I've just got it myself Julian. Looks a great bit of kit but will definitely take some learning.

I am currently working my may through Scott Kelby's Lightroom 3 book, would heartily recommend it.

Im just reading his photoshop cs4 book

I find Lighroom a lot faster and easier to use than Photoshop. Since I've starting learning LR3 I find I hardly ever need Photoshop anymore.

I was given photoshop a couple of weeks ago and a book which I have been reading, then whilst on a visit to a local college media department I was given LR3 and thought it would be rude not to accept it.
